Walking The Queensferry Crossing For Charity

When the chance arose for the public to walk the new Queensferry Crossing before it officially opened as a motorway Liam Duncan, Maria Hutchison and John Park applied to take part. They also asked people to sponsor their walk to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity – Melissa Crouch Fund, a charity that is special to everyone associated with Kingdom Homes Ltd.

The weather for the walk was ideal – dry, sunny and not too windy.

To date the total funds raised hasn’t been calculated but will be updated here as soon as all sponsorship money is collected in. Meantime Maria, John and Liam would like to thank all friends, family and colleagues who sponsored them.

There was a chance to have their photos taken with Nicola Sturgeon before they set off.

The views of the other two bridges and Port Edgar marina were spectacular.

There were some interesting statistics about the new crossing to read at various points on the way.
