SVQ Assessor

We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual who wants to make a difference and have a passion for training and quality.

This role is for an SVQ assessor.

As an assessor you will deliver progressive teaching, learning and assessment reviews with every learner, supporting, motivating and encouraging your learners to achieve their qualifications.

You will manage your own diary to ensure you achieve this. (Don’t worry if these techniques are new to you, full training will be provided).

If you have not already achieved this, you will be supported to work towards your assessor qualification.

The Role

As an Assessor you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of learners achieve their Social Services and Healthcare qualifications at Level 2 and Level 3 depending on their occupational competence.

Your working schedule will be a combination of home based, office based, and care home based. Your hours will be 8 hours per day (times are flexible) Monday to Friday.

You will work with a maximum caseload of 40 learners (dependant on qualifications)

·Competent in Literacy and Numeracy

·Ability to build relationships and engage both learners and employers

·Ability to communicate at all levels

Driving licence essential

Qualifications

Level 3

You will be qualified to at least SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
