Receptionist (weekends) – Lomond View, Falkland

Kingdom Homes has a great opportunity for someone looking for weekend work. Lomond View care home in Falkland requires a Receptionist to work from 9am – 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays (14 hrs per week).

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone calls to the care home. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and general office experience. A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages is also required.

Lifestyle Co-ordinator – Finavon Court, Glenrothes

Kingdom Homes has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and outgoing person to join the team at Finavon Court, our residential care home in Glenrothes, as Lifestyle Co-ordinator.

The successful candidate will be required to work 15 hours per week over 5 days (Monday – Friday) although some flexibility will be required to help with the occasional event (fetes, coffee mornings etc) which may be held on a weekend.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the desire to organise, deliver and participate in a variety of activities, events and therapies with residents both in a group setting and on a one-to-one basis.

Kitchen Assistant – Various Locations

We currently have opportunities to join Kingdom Homes as a Kitchen Assistant at various of our care homes within Fife.

The successful candidates will assist in the preparation, serving and clearing up of meals in the home whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. A certificate in Basic Food Hygiene and previous experience of food preparation in a care home is desirable but not essential.

We also have an opportunity for someone to work as a Kitchen Assistant on a Peripatetic/Relief basis, providing cover for annual leave and other absences at any of our care homes. Consequently this post requires someone with the ability to travel to any of our 12 care homes in Fife.

Job Description Kitchen Assistant

Chef/Cook Vacancies – Various Locations

Kingdom Homes currently has opportunities for Chefs/Cooks to join the organisation at various of our care homes in Fife. There is also a requirement for someone who enjoys variety to work as a Permanent Relief Chef/Cook covering shifts in any of our care homes.

Each post is full time and requires the successful candidate to work on a shift rota basis from 8.30am – 5.30pm three days one week and four days the following week which will include weekends. Applicants should already hold the appropriate food hygiene and safety qualifications and be able to demonstrate sound cooking and baking skills. Previous experience of cooking for large numbers is a requirement along with stock control, portion control and a knowledge of current legislation relating to the catering industry.

We are currently recruiting Nurses for our modern care homes, all within Fife. A variety of flexible shifts patterns are available including full time, part time and peripatetic posts in both day shift and night shifts.

We provide a five-day Induction Programme for all new staff and training opportunities are provided for extended clinical skills e.g. anaphylaxis, male catheterisation and vena puncture. For those interested in progressing into management roles we also offer the appropriate training and support.
