Part-time, Peripatetic Lifestyle Coordinator

We currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and bubbly individual to join our Lifestyle team as Peripatetic Lifestyle Coordinator.

The successful applicant will work 25 hours per week, Mon-Fri with some flexibility, providing activity support to our 12 homes, Fife wide.

As this is a travelling position, candidate must have own transport. Position provides mileage allowance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a desire to organise, deliver and participate in a variety of activities and therapies within Kingdom Homes.

Care Assistants – Willow House, Anstruther

Kingdom Homes currently has opportunities for committed individuals with the desire for a rewarding career in care of the elderly to join the Company as Care Assistants within our Anstruther home, Willow House. There are currently day shift and night shift vacancies.

Successful candidates would be required to work 12 hour shifts on a 3/4 rota.

An SVQ level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care would be an advantage although full training is available through Kingdom Training, our own accredited training division. Opportunities for progression to more senior roles are possible for those who are keen to further their career in care. Kingdom Homes is fully committed to supporting and developing staff who display the necessary attributes to progress to senior and management levels.

The successful candidates will work as part of the care team to assist with the provision of quality care to our residents. They will ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, following cleaning schedules and infection control policy and procedures.

Clinical Nurse Specialist in Infection Control

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced nurse with a keen interest in infection control who would be required to take the lead in ensuring infection control processes occur within the organization.
The post is care home based and will be rotational. It is expected that the nurse will carry out nursing duties within the care home and time will be allocated to allow the nurse to carry out the specialist infection control role within the care home.

The clinical nurse specialist role is a diverse role and you will be required to provide evidence of improvement to the clinical lead for the organization. You will provide an educational input to healthcare professionals, care staff and other relevant groups acting as a resource. You will run and maintain the ‘In house’ courses which cover infection control, handwashing and use of PPE. You will be responsible for ensuring that staff compliance to infection control follows best practice and ensure that residents assessed needs relating to infection control are promptly identified and managed. You will be required to support with infection control audits, alongside policy development.

The clinical nurse specialist role is a diverse role and you will be required to provide evidence of improvement to the clinical lead for the organization. We are currently recruiting Nurses for our modern care homes, all within Fife. A variety of flexible shifts patterns are available including full time, part time and peripatetic posts in both day shift and night shifts.

We provide a five-day Induction Programme for all new staff and training opportunities are provided for extended clinical skills e.g. anaphylaxis, male catheterisation and vena puncture. For those interested in progressing into management roles we also offer the appropriate training and support.

The successful candidates will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring the delivery of high quality care to our residents and leading a team of Care Assistants.
