Methven House Make A Wish poster. Each Kingdom Homes care home has their own version of the Wishing Well poster displayed where everyone can see it.
As part of the Lifestyle Project currently underway within our care homes (see Company News article dated 15th March 2011) Residents are being asked to let us know if they have a personal Wish that they would like to have fulfilled. We will do our best to accomodate any request, as long as it is within the bounds of our capabilities and the individuals physical ability.
One such wish already granted was for a gentleman to visit his football team's home ground. This was something he had always wanted to do but thought was now out of reach. With the help of some members of staff and volunteers assistance his dream came true and some other residents were also able to accompany him on the visit.
Posters are displayed in all of our care homes for residents and their families to see and decide whether we can make a wish come true.
