Julie Wallace, Care Director of Kingdom Homes Limited presents the cheque to Dr Lance Sloan.
A cheque for more than £300 has been presented to the Multiple Sclerosis unit at Fife's Cameron Hospital by Julie Wallace, Care Director with Cluny-based Kingdom Homes Limited, the region's longest established care home group. Julie herself has MS and is no stranger to the unit in Windygates. "The £315 was collected thanks to a raffle held during the Kingdom Homes staff Christmas party," explained Julie, "and we are delighted that the money can be put to good use within the unit itself." Julie handed the cheque over to Dr Lance Sloan, Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Cameron Hospital. Staff and families from Kingdom Homes facilities in Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Cluny, Cardenden, Crossgates, Falkland and Auchtertool all attended the party and contributed towards the raffle.
