All employees of Kingdom Homes must be a member of the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme) which replaced the former Disclosure Scotland Scheme. All costs in relation to becoming a member of the scheme (currently £59) or updates to a scheme record will be met by the successful applicant.

If your job role involves you in the direct care of our residents, it is also a requirement of your employment with Kingdom Homes Ltd that you are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

To assist you achieve that registration Kingdom Homes can provide to you, through its own training department - Kingdom Training, enrolment on the relevant SVQ programme.

The cost of this qualification is met by you and can be made in one payment or by agreed monthly repayments.

Should you decide to use another training provider, such as a college, you must provide evidence of your enrolment within two months of joining Kingdom Homes Ltd and an anticipated completion date.

Applicants who are being considered for a role within the Company will be invited to attend an Assessment day where their suitability for the position applied for will be considered. During that day applicants will take part in group sessions and individual interviews and will have the opportunity to spend some time with a few of our residents.
