In 1998 Craigie House became part of the caring Kingdom Homes Ltd properties portfolio, undergoing a continuing investment programme which encompasses extensive refurbishment to ensure it both meets and indeed surpasses the high standards expected by the company.

This converted mansion house combines the unique blend of its original Victorian frontage with a modern extension where comfort and care come together to ensure that all the residents can really feel at home.
Craigie House can cater for 30 residents. A choice of bedroom accomodation is available, with the majority of rooms offering en-suite toilet and shower facilities.
During a recent major refurbishment programme Craigie was fitted with a direct-dial telephone system with itemised billing, swing-free door closers which are linked to the fire detection system, and a sprinkler system was installed to all areas of the home. These upgrades underline the priority that Kingdom Homes Ltd place on the safety of each and every one of our residents.
Craigie's upper floor areas can be accessed by lift while the lounges and dining rooms are on the ground floor along with access to landscaped garden areas where residents can take a stroll or simply sit and enjoy the fresh air and flowers.
Although sitting at the heart of Crossgates, the predominently rural setting of Craigie House does not distance it from the many attractions of the surrounding towns like Dunfermline, with even Edinburgh only a short way away by road and rail.
With regular outings to the shops, shows and other attractions available as part of the Kingdom Homes Ltd outreach programme, there is always plenty to do - including a very busy schedule of events from exercise classes to reminiscence sessions and games, with inter-home competitions a regular and popular feature on the Craigie calendar.
How to find Craigie House
Leave the A92 Fife Regional Road at the junction for Crossgates and follow the B925 for 1 mile into the village. Follow the main road to the T-junction with traffic lights, turning left towards Cowdenbeath. Follow this road for approximately one mile and the Craigie House sign can be seen on the right. The spacious car park is 100 metres along the drive.
