Roselea House and Central Laundry Progress

I'm delighted to report that the central laundry, whilst only having been in existence for a few weeks, is already proving to be a great success. We can now begin making arrangements to extend the service so that all garments are laundered there. Labelling of clothing is currently being undertaken in each care home to ensure that all items can be returned to the appropriate owner. The turnaround time for personal laundry items will be 24 hours.

Thank you to all of the staff who have been involved in setting up and implementing the central laundry facility.

We held our open days at Roselea House, Cowdenbeath last week to give care industry professionals and members of the public the opportunity to see the completed dementia care home before our first residents arrive. We received many compliments on the way that the home has been furbished to provide excellent facilities for dementia care. Following a good number of initial enquiries, assessments are currently being carried out and the first residents will move in when the final Registration Certificate from the Care Commission is received which should be within the next couple of weeks.
