Barrogil House, at the heart of the tranquil rustic setting of Cluny, near to both Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, is a purpose-built home which enjoys panoramic views over the Lomond Hills and the surrounding countryside.
In a rural setting, Barrogil also benefits from its own mature gardens where residents can take a stroll or simply sit on the patio areas to enjoy the fresh air and flowers..
Barrogil caters for 24 residents with
single rooms with en-suite toilet facilities. During a recent
major refurbishment programme the Home was fitted with a direct-dial
telephone system with itemised billing, swing-free door closers which
are linked to the fire detection system, and a sprinkler system was
installed to all areas. These upgrades underline the priority
that Kingdom Homes Ltd place on the safety of each and every one of our
residents.
All the rooms are on the ground floor with Barrogil's lounges and dining areas giving access to the garden areas through patio doors.
But the rural setting of Barrogil House does not distance it from the many attractions of the surrounding towns, with even Edinburgh almost on the doorstep and only a short drive away.
With regular outings to the shops, shows and other attractions regularly available as part of the Kingdom Homes Ltd outreach programme, there is always plenty to do - including a very busy schedule of events from exercise classes to reminiscence sessions and games, with inter-home competitions a regular and popular feature on the Cluny calendar.
How to find Barrogil House
Leave the A92 Fife Regional Road at the Kirkcaldy West junction and follow the signs for Cardenden and Kinglassie. Approximately one mile from the A92 lies the picturesque village of Cluny. Take the Kinglassie and Glenrothes turning at the Cluny junction. About 100 metres from the junction turn into the farm road on the right hand side, following the signs for Barrogil House which lead into the Home's spacious car parking area.
